Shutdown register and remove power for 5 minutes.

Press the power button on the register once to shut it down. DO NOT press and hold the power button unless there is no other option! This may cause data corruption to the unit!

Once the register shuts down, carefully remove power from under the back of the register screen(if unable to remove power under the screen unplug the twist-lock at the wall - make sure you're unplugging the correct device).

Locate where cash drawer cable plugs in HERE.

Where the wires plug into the register the cash drawer cable is a small phone line type wire. Carefully unplug and replug the cable.

Wait 5 minutes.

Plug power back in from removed location

Turn the register back on; allow time for it to boot.
